Scrambles
Winning transitions between positions and chaotic exchanges.
What this phase means
Scrambles are the chaotic in-between — turtle exchanges, failed sweeps, sprawled-out passes. Whoever recognizes the new position first wins the next phase.
What to recognize

Intermediate mistake
Winning the scramble physically but landing without a plan, giving up the gained position on the next exchange.
